This CCW training course certificate is accepted by Montana Sheriff Departments to obtain your Concealed Weapons Permit or Montana Enhanced CCW Permit
A-Z Solid fundamentals course. Curriculum includes Laws regarding use of force/firearms, Safe and responsible use of handguns, Self defense principles, Live fire training 100 rounds.
Shooters will need 100 rounds of ammunition. Course Length: 1 Day / 9 Hours. Class size: To provide each client with the best experience, classes are limited to 7 students. Smaller classes provide each student more opportunities for one on one attention.
If you do not already have an appropriate handgun to use for this class, rental guns will be available class time. The rental fee is $25 and includes the gun and your ammo. I strongly recommend renting one of ours for this class because it is a high quality gun that is appropriate for the class. Also, I will teach you how to properly fit and select a gun to purchase so you can make an informed decision on which gun to purchase. Fit is important. Many students purchase a gun that does not fit them, then buy another after they learn this.
This is high value training in a comfortable environment for women and men of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Course emphasizes safe gun handling and shooting fundamentals, handgun parts and functions, proper stance, grip, presentation, trigger control, how to properly fit and select a handgun, the law and use of deadly force, self defense principles, where you can and cannot carry, ammunition, and how to maintain and clean a handgun.
Twelve to seventeen year old students are welcome and MUST be accompanied by an adult parent or legal guardian.
After you register for the course, detailed instructions will be provided to you via email at least one week prior to the course date.

If you are considering using a handgun for personal defense, either Inside or outside your home, we strongly recommend you take this Concealed Carry & Basic Handgun course, followed by Defensive Handgun-1 Inside The Home, and Defensive Handgun-2 Outside The Home.
